Information/Write-up

Glen Johansen was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He found his love for music early on, and to that end learned to play a number of instruments over the years. He is also a talented singer/songwriter and producer. In 1987, Johansen recorded a couple of two-sided singles and a self-titled debut album. All were released under the Coach House label.

Johansen didn't add any other solo offerings to his credits, but he has made a name for himself in the music world while working in both rock and reggae with other artists like Mick Jagger, Nash the Slash, Carl Harvey, Otis Gayle, Truths & Rights, and many others. He engineered most of Eddy Grant's music including 'Electric Avenue'.
