Following his oddball hippy jazz recording with Tommy Ambrose "Fuzzy Love" seven years earlier, Nick the sourpuss, of Beachcombers fame, recorded "Signin' With The N.H.L.". Produced by Kevin Gillis. It was his last musical recording, returning to the Beachcombers for three more years and making Canadian television history with Canada's longest-ever running weekly dramatic series.
