Insight

Something Special announced “Western Ontario’s favourite country singer” Alfie Fromager’s son David’s songwriting ambitions. Released on his father’s Circle M Records, based in Mount Forest, Ontario, in 1978, the album is social gathering of rural rock & folk numbers, moving between homegrown CSNY and localized Carole King lyrics, with a healthy dose of phased guitar and string Moog in the mix.

David Fromager: lead vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, 6 & 12-string guitar
Mark Bennett: lead rhythm guitars, backup vocals
Phil Suite: bass
Brian McGregor: drums, bongos
Max Clark: piano (string moog)
Neil Towers: saxophone

All songs composed by David Fromager
Produced by Clare Adlam for Circle "M" Records, Mount Forest, Ontario
Engineered by Jim Evans
Recorded at Waxworks Studio, St. Jacobs, Ontario
