This was the third and final single from one of Ottawa's finest Vocal/rock bands-the Five D. Sir John A records as a label was beginning to wind down operations-it Never did go bankrupt, it just ceased operations late in 1968. The Five D were one of the Few band Lucky enough to have 3 original singles released on the label - and 3 great singles they were. 'She Can't Be My Girl' is an uptempo pop/rock gem - while, 'Freeloader' is a slow pop ballad that spotlights the group's amazing vocal harmonies.
