Information/Write-up

Eclipse was a progressive rock band which featured 3 band members from Montreal and one from Manitoba. The album became notorious by the massive extended 16-bar drum break and heavy scat funk fusion/moog workout on “Le reve de John W.” Elsewhere the listener is treated to a beautiful range of progressive rock moves (a la Dark Side Of The Moon-era Pink Floyd)

Pierre Gauthier (Aut’chose): guitar, synth
Marie-France Paquin: vocals
Daniel Barbe: piano, synth
Yoland Houle: bass, congas
Pierre Tremblay: percussion, electronics, synth
Chris Castle: drums

Produced by John Williams
Recorded at Le Studio, Morin Heights, Qoebec
