Bernie Early first performed on the radio when he was 15 playing bass and guitar in a bluegrass band. At 17 he was singing country music in nightclubs and lounges. At 19 he was discovered by Fats Domino’s manager, who took him to New York City where he signed to MGM. He sold over a million records of a song he wrote called “Rock Doll”. Worked with Brenda Lee, performed on American Bandstand and did numerous TV variety shows.
