A collection of lullabies and slow aires both original and traditional. This recording garnered a JUNO nomination and an East Coast Music Award.

"Island chanteuse Teresa 'Doyle, who three years ago walked away from the East Coast Music Awards in Halifax with the award for top Children's album, may well have come up with another winner in her latest undertaking, Cradle on The Waves. Doyle's seventh album is a charming collection of traditional lullabies and slow aires, sung in Scottish Gaelic, English and French. Doyle chose her material well for the album, going with songs and arrangements she felt would appeal not only to the younger listeners her children's albums have attracted to the fold but to their parents as well. In other words, there's something here for all ages. Composer and multi-instrumentalist Oliver Schroer once again served as Doyle's producer and gave yeoman service. Doyle is in excellent voice here and receives solid support from some talented players. Prime cuts on Cradle On The Waves include the title track, which Doyle wrote, Dream Angus, Summer Faire. Sleep Song and Green Grow The Rushes.
