Ivan Daines – Legends - Music CD Ivan Daines is a rodeo legend who also happens to be one of Canada’s top singers and songwriters. Ivan grew up in rodeo and kicked off his illustrious career by winning the steer riding at the legendary Calgary Stampede three consecutive years in 1959, 1960 and 1961. Ivan switched to bronc riding and won the Canadian novice bronc riding championships in 1963 and 1965. Between 1968 and 1980, Ivan’s name appeared in the world saddle bronc riding standings five times and culminated with him winning the saddle bronc riding average at the National Finals Rodeo in 1976. In 1977 he launched his music career as a singer and songwriter and his still going strong four decades later.
