Hello, For years I have been looking for David Campbell to find out if he is still performing. But MOSTLY I would like to thank him for writing Manitoulin. I woke up on a Sunday morning in September at the age of 21, in 1981, to hear the most deep, beautiful voice and song I had ever experienced. We bought the Pretty Brown album not long after that. At the time I wasn't aware of his discography. From what I could tell he was more reclusive later on. I started searching for him the odd time since 2016. If Mr. Campbell is still living, I want to send him my thanks. I have sung this song before, and no one fails to be deeply moved by it. Sincerely, Kathryn Teske
