this project began in may of ‘93 and was completed in may of ‘95. it went through a lot of changes and passed through a lot of hands. it received a lot of help from a lot of people, so i hope i haven’t missed anyone.

i want to thank my mom and dad, donald and julia cameron, for their unconditional love and support. without them none of this would have been possible. also my brothers and sisters, graham, reggie, sharon, sheila, shelley and shirley for all the long distance phone calls from cape breton keeping me strong and sane enough to continue. your support was critical – i love you guys. can’t forget the in-laws, roddie, gary, mark, deanna and mary-ann and of course rodney and natalie and the world’s youngest fan club the rest of my nieces and nephews.

thanx to gary koliger and marek forysinski at beta sound for all their undying commitment to seeing this project get off the ground and completed. also to blair and jane mcewan for being there during the roughest period of my life. there’s two guys in vancouver i’m proud to call friends. i was a big fan when they played with colin james and thrilled to have worked with them. thanx to darrell mayes and dennis “fuck it i’m gone fly fishing” marcenko. also to larry wagamas and bumstead for hooking me up with darrell and dennis. to the alberta foundation for the arts for their continuous support and also to mix-96 for the grand prize in super session ‘94. a big wave of gratitude to mark “hey, is babatovich on” puffer for sinking endless hours into producing me vocally and working his brilliance on backgrounds and gary “hung like a hamster” lloyd for his background work – love you guys like sisters. being produced and engineered by randy staub was a great experience. we worked hard and laughed a lot. thanx randy for the good company and great comedy. to sandee bathgate at bruce allan’s office for the help freeing up staub’s schedule to work with me. also to john at mothers music in edmonton for being so kind and generous with all the amps. to the greenhouse studios in vancouver for looking after us and throwing a great party in the greenroom. kind hello to brian “hey dobbs” for mixing, waking up at such an outrageous hour. also to bernie grundman in los angeles for his mastering expertise. a special thanx to bill and arlene kole for looking after myself and gary during our stay in l.a. and for laughing so much at my one joke. to barry allan and keith james at homestead for treating us so well. additional thanks to mike lent for his great tracks. dorothy mceauley at on tour travel, colin lay, fm systems, rick hopkins, don zadunayski at axe music, ross dumitru, jon & charmaine beckett, mark gaspch for always being there, kathy kirby, l&m music in edmonton, david “nice par” bernstein for always giving me a home in vancouver and lending an ear when ever i needed to talk, chris peters, anne gillespie “thanks for the shirt ann” ian armstrong at wolf willow studio for always looking after me at a moment’s notice, and my friend during the long haul – thanx laurence pugh – i love you all.
