Information/Write-up

Mesmerizing Canadian acid folk with awesome flowing tunes weaving their dreamy magic. Beautiful folky passages intertwine with driving psychadelic head charging jams, laced with keyboard and bursts of ripping wild fuzz guitar. An exotic caravan of mind expansion in flowing kaleidascopic sound. Amazingly full instrumentation with electric/acoustic guitars, rhythm guitar, drums, bass, conga drums, cordovox, farfisa organ and more creates some heady atmospheres. You never know where this one will turn next. Many people would agree this LP would stand up to the best tracks of the finest UK acid folk to be found in the early 70's. The Brazda Brothers supremely uplifting record album represents the west coast acid vision like no other. Every track blows the mind as Andy and Gin (Brazda) let you in on the secrets of the universe in full blown effervessing pools of sunshine dripping organic vibrations and magical sixties stone grooves supreme. Isn't it time Andy and Gin visited your home? Canadian band fronted by acoustic guitarist Bystrik and lead guitarist Andy Brazda. Mesmerizing acid folk/rock featuring gentle acoustic material with bursts of electric guitar and keyboards. There is some great acid fuzz guitar work and at times the sound is more garage psych than folk. Cuts like "Walking in the Sun", "Gemini" with fuzz guitar, "Soldier in a Battleground" and more. This in some ways reminds me of the great UK folk pieces of the very early 70's.

Andy Brazda: lead & acoustic guitar
B. Gin Brazda: acoustic guitar
Fred O'Quinn: rhythm guitar
Jim Skriboleit: drums
Mac Babb: bass
Vinston Dookie: conga drums
Vince Romano: cordovox
