Music is a movement. “BENT WIND” is a movement. Their music expresses the feeling of the young in Canada. The feeling to be free. “BENT WIND” have found the sound that identifies the young - but they will always change because we as human beings change. To stand still is not the way. A group in which each member has also completed his second decade of life - they will achieve their goal. The ever changing music and young will be free.

“BENT WIND” evolved from: EDDIE CHRIS, Drummer; ‘SUDS’ WOODS, Bass; MARTY ROTH, Rhythm; GERRY GIBAS, Harmonica & lead guitar. Vocals are provided by all members.
MARTY ROTH who was born on Yorkville Avenue has decided to become famous rather than rich. He hopes to convert the rest of the group to becoming Jewish.
GERRY GIBAS was born in toronto. He exists in Toronto. Gerry enjoys kicking around with art when he’s not with his wife. He is always experimenting with music and is constantly writing new songs.
‘SUDS’ WOODS was born in Toronto. He likes all styles of music especially Rossini, Beatles, Stones. He loves his guitar!
EDDIE CHRIS was born in Toronto. In 1961 he started in music by playing the organ, but somewhere along the way turned to playing the drums.
“BENT WIND” have been together about 1 year playing at schools & teen happenings in and around Toronto. Their first release, ‘SACRED COW’ f/s ‘CASTLE MADE OF MAN’ on the TREND label is an original group composition.
