This, the Holy Grail of Canadian Christmas music, features easy listening, bossa, jazz, vocalese, sunshine pop, all with a Christmas twist. Created by a who's who of Canadian jazz, this album, along with Canadian Brass - Traditional Christmas Songs, were the Canadian content that was used by BBC TV in the 1970's, before the advent of 24 hour Television. The albums were played every Christmas for many years up until the end of the tescard era, when music was no longer transmitted.
