Albi was a Canadian singer/ songwriter who was originally based out of Toronto, Ontario, but moved to Tampa, Florida to start a solo career in 1983, when he released this single to a Canadian and American audience. His career started in Toronto in the early 70's playing drums and singing for groups such as Homestead and Orleans. Albi then became a member of the show band Canadian Conspiracy, which toured extensively through-out the U.S., Canada, and the Carribean. Conspiracy had two releases on Capitol Records.
