About This Title

This was the groups second LP on the Ambiances Magnétiques label, released in 1989. Inspired by the ghost of Jimi Hendrix, this resident quintet at the Apocalypso-Bar in Montreal featured Jean-Pierre Bouchard; Chris Cutler; Claude Fradette; Rémi Leclerc; René Lussier; and Ferdinand Richard. Music by Duchesne, Bouchard, Derome/Lussier, Fradette, Frith, Bartok, and Hollmer.

Le bloc démoil was part of a musical soundtrack to the film 'Passiflora', which was based on the coincidal arrival of Michael Jackson and the Pope at Montréal's Olympic Stadium in 1984.

Claude Fradette: guitar
René Lussier: guitar and Fender VI
Jean-Pierre Bouchard: guitar
André Duchesne: guitar
Ferdinand Richard: bass
Chris Cutler: drums
Rémi Leclerc: drums

Produced by André Duchesne at Studio Victor, Montreal, Quebec, January, 1989
