Electric guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Elaine Stef is a veteran of Canada’s alternative music scene. She was a founding member of the Moral Lepers, considered one of the most original groups out of the Vancouver punk scene. She has composed and recorded with Montreal’s Rhythm Activism, Vancouver’s Animal Slaves, and Toronto dub poet Lillian Allen. Her original music has been featured in numerous film and video soundtracks. Along with Eileen Kage and Leslie Komori she is a founding member of LOUD.
