Roger Miron


Canadian (Québec) singer, songwriter and producer born in St-Théodore (today Chertsey) in 1929. He made his debut in Western Songs in 1950. In 1952, he formed his own group, with which he performed in Eastern Canada and the United States. In 1956, he had one of his greatest sales successes with his composition «À Qui L'P'tit Coeur Après Neuf Heures?». In the 1950s he founded the publishing house Éditions Troubadour and then, in early 1960s, the Record Labels Rusticana, Click, France-Canada and Dorval. Until 1967, he devoted himself to the production of records for several artists. He died in Montreal on September 27, 2024.
