Jacques Michel (born Jacques Rodrigue; June 27, 1941 – March 5, 2026) was an iconic Québécois singer-songwriter known for tender and engaging folk-rock songs focusing on love, freedom, and life. With a five-decade career and over 30 hits, his acclaimed work included "Amène-toi chez nous" and "Un nouveau jour va se lever".
