Canadian fiddle player and composer.
Born Feb 2, 1921 in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Died Aug 25, 2018 in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Signed a recording contract with RCA in 1952 and released several albums.
Three time winner of the North American Fiddling Championship (1956, 1957, 1962).
Member of the North American Fiddler's Hall of Fame (1981), New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame (1983), Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame (2000).
Received The Order of Canada in 1992.
