Biography:

The S'quires changed their name from The Esquires after Capitol Records sued them for using the same name as the Ottawa Esquires. The Calgary Esquires had recorded one single in 1962 - Melody of the Woods b/w Electrocution on Barry B-3125X. The S'quires recorded two singles - 'Day Dreams b/w Green Surf' on Barry 3312X and 'Remember b/w Reach for a Star' on Barry 3398X. Johnny Harlow became the band's lead vocalist after joining the band in 1966. Hornby became a school teacher. Thomas became a booking agent and promoter.
