Biography
Geoff Edmunds is the older brother of Welsh Rock & Roll singer/guitarist/producer Dave Edmunds who had a string of hit singles between 1970-1985 including his biggest, I Hear You Knocking from 1970.
Geoff and Dave Edmunds formed The Heartbeats in Cardiff, Wales during the 1950's. Dave Edmunds found fame as a solo artist beginning in the early 1970's and formed rockabilly band Rockpile in 1976. Older brother Geoff Edmunds went into newspaper advertising first in South Wales then in Canada, and would eventually settle in Victoria B.C., Canada where he formed a classified ad company that worked their sales on the internet called "Jobs Canada Inc".
Meanwhile, during the mid-1980's Geoff Edmunds was still writing and recording songs in Victoria B.C. including Cathy's Song (1983), Running Free (1983), She Made A Fool (Of This Honky Tonkin' Man (1984) and (Where You Gonna Find) A Country Boy Like Me (1984).
Geoff Edmunds has been involved in the battery business, writing and publishing. Today Geoff Edmunds lives in Ocean Park, Surrey B.C. Canada and released a solo album in September, 2011 titled True Blue Me.
