Biography:

We are proud to present "The Original Bill Dudley" in Nashville Moves North. Side one was recorded in Canada, featuring some of Canada's top musicians, while side two was recorded in Nashville, Tenn. using that city's finest music men.

Born in Seymore, Missouri, Bill started his musical career at the early age of 19, working in a lot of clubs throughout the United States. While travelling he appeared as a guest at the Grand Ole Opry and met his manager Jimmy Rule.

Soon after joining with Jimmy, Bill began to record with Capital Records in Nashville, Tenn.

Bill is now in Canada and has played in many of the top clubs and hotels. In 1966 Bill co-starred with Canada's Hank Snow at the Club Kingsway in Toronto and in 1967 Bill played at the Horseshoe Tavern.

In this album Bill is presenting twelve original hits including four of his top sellers, two of which are "Please Mr. Conductor", and "Top Ten In Heaven".

Recently Bill has formed a group, called "Bill Dudley and His Conductors" and we are sure you will enjoy them and this album.
