The Sounds of Life (aka Lifeblood) was a Toronto hard rock band, active between 1966 - 1969, and played dozens if not hundreds of shows in Toronto during that time. Although they never recorded, they did win The Etobicoke Battle of the Bands in 1968. After breaking up, members Rick Skol and Drew Tjernstrom joined forces with Charles Gadsby to form Gadsby & Skol, who went on to record with Woronzow / Blue Matter Records of England.
