Sporting Life

Sporting Life was born in Montreal, Canada in 1987, but the history behind its individuals goes back much further and is fairly extensive.

The Rathie brothers were 2/5ths of Cruiser a Montreal based band whose album « Rollin' with the Times » was one of the more successful Canadian albums of the early 1980's.

The band broke up in '83 due to management problems but Walter and Tom continued writing and working together, refining and developing on the work they had started with Cruiser.

Guitarist Ron Stutz was with another original Montreal band called « Moving Targets » popular on the showbar circuit in Ontario, Quebec and Maritimes.

As in many teams, the total is greater than the sum of the parts and the energy and excitement that is Sporting Life is well show-cased on this CD.
