Battlesoul

Formed in the fall of 2007 by Mike Grund and Nich Ireland, with the idea to create a unique brand of folk metal, coupled with melodies provided by real Celtic instruments. Later, their sound was filled out by Jon Doyle and Nich's brother Thomas, which allowed the band to begin touring across Ontario, opening for well known international acts such as Moonsorrow.
