Biography:

Jimmy Young is an R&B / Soul /Pop singer songwriter who has the distinction of sharing the same stage with such greats as, The Temptations, The O'Jays, Ben E. King, The Stylistics and Sam Moore to name a few.

In the 80's Jimmy Young was introduced to rock and roll hall of fame inductee producer Bob Gallo, by his friend and mentor Ben E. King.

Bob has produced and arranged for such greats as James Brown, Ben E. King, Patti LaBelle, Solomon Burke and The Young Rascals to name a few while working at Atlantic and CBS Records.

In the late 80's Bob and Jimmy began working together (writing and recording) as a team.

Jimmy Young's first release was the cover of Bad Company's ""Can't Get Enough Of Your love"" which was charted #20 nationally, it was followed up with ""Supernatural Thing"" which became a Dance Hall ""FAV"" in Europe, U.S.A and Canada in the 90's.

Jimmy's busy schedule included making appearances and performing on Much Music's ""Electric Circus"" which is televised nationwide in Canada.

In 2001 Jimmy Young was signed by independent label, Lost Gold Records.

Lost Gold released Heartbreaker by Jimmy Young, 18 tracks of solid R&B / Pop songs written by Bob Gallo and Jimmy Young, and produced by Bob Gallo.

Mick O'Donnell a radio personality from England was quoted as saying that ""Jimmy Young's Heartbreaker has a solid R&B following in Britain.

Heartbreaker was also released in Germany on Falcon Records.
