Biography:
After an audition with agency Andre Productions out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Weekes got his start in music almost 50 years ago. He’s continued to delight audiences with return engagements and long term residencies across Canada, the USA and and the Caribbean.
Tyrone’s two recently released singles were recorded and engineered by award winning studio MCC Recording with duo Dave Temple and Johnny Gasparic. Features by session musicians Justin Kudding (Brett Kissel) on bass, Russell Broom (Jann Arden) on guitar, Brendon Lyons (Hey Romeo) on the drums, Brendon Waters (2020 CCMA Keyboard Player of the Year) on the keys, and engineer Johnny Gasparic on guitar add a well rounded sound to this solo musician’s new tracks.
Weekes has two successful albums in his catalog, and describes his artistry as country music with a warm island flair. Currently touring bars and legions around Alberta, having just recorded two singles and his sights set on mainstream radio, Weekes continues to share his passion for the art of music.
