Biography:

June Wallack is a Canadian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, and voice artist from Québec. A versatile performer, she has left her mark on both the music and entertainment industries.

In the mid-1970s, Wallack released her self-titled album, a rare gem in the Québec music scene. She wrote and composed every song on the record, showcasing her unique artistry. Accompanying her were some of the most accomplished musicians in the province, including Denis Farmer (drummer for Harmonium), Bill Gagnon (bassist for Ville Emard Blues Band), and Pierre Nadeau (keyboardist for Robert Charlebois). Despite its high musical quality, her album remained an obscure treasure, earning admiration from collectors and connoisseurs of Québecois music.

Beyond her music career, Wallack is known for her contributions to theater and voice acting. She originated the role of Sœur Oubliette in Les Nonnes, the Québec adaptation of the hit musical Nunsense, bringing her theatrical talents to the stage.

Later, she transitioned into voice narration and acting, gaining recognition as the narrator of the fifth season of How It’s Made, the popular documentary television series.
