Biography:

A Vancouver, Canada native, JW Wade cut his first record at sixteen years old with west coast rock band Stallion Thumrock. Recording at A&M studios in Hollywood, he worked with Grammy Award Winning Engineer/Producer Tommy Vicari. He then signed a multi-album deal with CBS Records Canada recording with jazz great Dale Jacobs & Cobra and a co-production on a Wade Brothers LP.

Singing, writing and playing guitar and bass since childhood, JW has performed and co-produced numerous recording sessions with world renowned musicians including Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, Ric Emmett, Billy Osborne, David Foster and Bob Rock. Working with his brother Brett Wade and Jazz great Dale Jacobs, the Wade Brothers album, released on Epic Records in Canada, garnered two top ten hits. Following Epic Records, Joel signed an international songwriting deal with BMG Toronto. His family roots run deep in music, going back to his great uncle, opera tenor Jussi Bjeorling. Bjeorling considered by many to be the greatest operatic tenors of all time. Influenced by a wide range of artists from Stevie Wonder to Joni Mitchell, the warm and soulful sound of his voice captures everyone who hears it. Joel currently owns & operates Blue House Media, a recording studio & video production company located in The Tulsa Art Studios building at 3105 Charles Page Blvd. in Tulsa.
