Origin: Trenton, Ontario
Biography:

The music scene in Trenton in the late 60's was punctuated by the local group Tyme and a Half. The featured artist was Barry "Buzz" Vandersel whose original group Buzzy and the Belvederes was formed when the talented Vandersel was just 14.

By 1969 the group had released two singles and with several changes in band members had evolved into the group Noah. Noah's 1972 album, Peaceman's Farm, was produced by Randy Bachman. Their star was rising. The band received stellar reviews in magazines such as Billboard, RPM and Cashbox and embarked on an exclusive US promotional tour accompanied by Bachman.

In 1973 Noah returned to the studio to produce a third album. It was during that time Barry Vandersel was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. Sadly, in the fall of 1975 after two years of treatments Barry lost his battle at the young age of 23. The band broke up shortly after.
