Allan Trineer

Origin Calumet, Québec, 🇨🇦
Allan Trineer

Allan Trineer was born in 1938, the eldest of five brothers, on a farm just outside of Calumet, Quebec. He has always been interested in country music and plays several instruments. He is currently lead guitarist and vocalist with Helen and The Honeycombs, who appear regularly in Montreal Music Clubs.

On this album the background band is The Hackamores, one of Canada's best known country groups, which, incidentally was formed by Dougie Trineer - Allan's brother. Allan and Dougie haven't worked together for many years but, although the reunion was long in coming - the result has been well worth the waiting.
