Websites:  No
Origin: Winnipeg, Manitoba, 🇨🇦
Biography:

Ted Rivers began singing professionally at the age of 18 and now, with seven years of night club and television experience (he has appeared in most of the top night spots in Western Canada and several television shows out of Winnipeg) Ted is aiming for national recognition through the record medium. This very versatile young man who writes all his own material swings form bouncing rock and roll to ballads, from country and western to rhythm and blues with a poise and confidence belying his age and experience."

"The excellent backing on this record is provided by "The Bluebelles" vocally and Len Breau (Lenny Breau), Spanish guitar, Ron Molderson, Steel guitar, Bob Jackson, Bass, Reg Kelln, Drums and Bob Enlandson, Piano. Listen now and let Ted introduce himself by displaying his vocal talents and, after listening, I think you will agree; it will not be long before Ted Rivers will not need to be introduced.
-liner notes

The album was released on August 1, 1962 and featured a young 21 years old Lenny Breau - probably his first recording, predating his first album by seven years.

Cash Box - July 28, 1962:
Ray Rutledge writes from Quality’s head office that they are prepping a new album release for August 1st. The new set will feature what Wray describes, “the new and startling voice,” of Winnipeg’s Ted Rivers. Material in the album, according to Wray, fits in well with the current trend of pop-country and western blended items that have been gathering a lot of coin in the industry of late. The LP will feature twelve fresh new songs. Wray and the Quality brass are waiting for the trade to pick a pair of sides from the new set before hey release a single by the artist. New album by Ted Rivers will be on Reo.
