Origin:
Burlington, Ontario, 🇨🇦
Biography:
In the early 1960's, in the Canadian small town of Burlington, Ontario, a group of 5 teenagers followed their dream and started a rock and roll band. Almost forty years later, the principals have decided to try and contact the friends of that band and collect whatever memorabilia they may have so that all may share and enjoy these great times. The manager and inspiration for the band, Grant Patterson, has continued to reach out to whom he could find. Although Grant was manager only from 1965 to December 1967, he was perhaps its strongest advocate and believer.
In the early years, the band had a dedicated fan club president Peggy Drew, now Peggy Large. The pictures on this site are from her collection and we are grateful for her scanning them in. They can be viewed(until I get the thumbnails up) at
Other notable friends of the band were: Ron Metcalfe, Danny O’Connell, Eric Allen, Stu Renfrew.
Grant Patterson, who seems to have the best memory of us all, will try to provide brief bio’s of each member and a history of the band until his despotic demise.
The band lived through a lot of incredible adventures, from music competition, to member rivalry, to car wrecks. Quite a ride.
A garage-punk outfit whose sole excursion onto vinyl was this one 45. They were based in Hamilton, Ontario

The Ragged Edges went through lead guitarists like Spinal Tap went through drummers but to my knowledge, none of us ever exploded. I know I didn't, but maybe that's because I was the last one.
