Information/Write-up

Here is a mega rare 45 rpm single record of an obscure canadian rock band from the region of Ottawa (I think!!). We find on one side "Do What You Did", composed and released by Thurston Harris some years before, and sung here by Len Leitch. The flip side is "Arsenic", an instrumental rock track composed by the group The Hi-Tones, starring Lionel Vachon on organ.

The band is from Ottawa. They recorded an LP for the Montaigne label as well, number 103. It's called Hi-Jump - The Top Jump Tunes of all time. Don Billows, played lead guitar and later opened the Oak Door in Ottawa. A club that featured many touring acts back in the 60's. Bill Billows leader of band and saxaphone. Len Leitch played drums.
